The holidays are winding down, but that doesn’t mean that the excitement has to end. Now is the time to follow your passion and become a doula.
The new year is always an exciting time full of new possibilities. If you make the decision to become a doula with the International Doula Institute, this new year can be one of your best ones yet!
If you have a passion for working with mothers and babies, we can help turn your passion into a rewarding career. When you become a doula, you can make a real difference in the lives of new families. Not only that, it will be a rewarding experience for you in so many ways.
Why should become a doula with the International Doula Institute?
Online doula training lets you become a doula at your own pace
One of IDI’s most unique features is that our training is 100% online. Once you decide that you want to become a doula and start your courses, you will have a full year to complete your training. This method allows you to work as quickly or as slowly as you need to. Either way, you’ll be prepared to begin working as doula by the time the ball drops in Times Square again next year.
You will feel fully prepared to begin working
After you become a doula with IDI, you will be ready to hit the ground running. Of course, you will learn about pregnancy, labor, and postpartum basics throughout your training. But, it takes more than that to become a doula. To really be successful, you need some business savvy as well. We specifically tailored our course to include business basics for doulas. Our goal is to help you stand out to your potential clients and shine brighter than fireworks on New Year’s Eve.
You will be part of a supportive community
You might be completing your training independently, but when you become a doula with IDI, you are not alone. Your IDI trainers are always just a phone call or email away to answer questions or offer advice and encouragement. We want to see you succeed! In addition to that, all IDI students and doulas are invited to be a part of our exclusive Facebook community. This is place to ask questions, share successes or concerns, and network with fellow IDI doulas.
